doesnt matter you will die of bird flu in a month
2 :
You can't cash in your state pension, do you mean a private pension?
3 :
That's a bit harsh! In answer to you though, I'd say yes.
4 :
You can defer your pension which will eventually give you more money and then you can cash it in to get one lump sum. Look at this link from the pension service website. http://www.thepensionservice.gov.uk/statepensiondeferral/choices.asp Here is the link for overseas enquiries. http://www.thepensionservice.gov.uk/contactus/contact-pod-form.asp

Not really, maybe just basic Thai for simple conversations. Theres alot of expats living in Thailand.
2 :
In touristy places like Phuket,Pattaya,Hua-Hin etc. you can get on without but in rural places a knowledge of the language is quite essential.
3 :
OH the irony....
4 :
you should
5 :
You can get by all over thailand without knowing any thai. But it is better if ya know some of the language.

To obtain a Non-Immigrant Type B Visa you must provide documentation from the company you will be working for or your corporate documents if starting your own business. So if you don't have a job or your own company, how did you get your Visa? If you live here before for 7 months, then you should know the answer to your question.

you probably need about 200,000Baht=$6000 (not approximately) this is kind of a tight budget tho. but you'll be ok, just don't let any of "those gals" near you :) you can easily get an english teaching job (if you're a native speaker) to any schools wherever you are in thailand. (i know some employers) you can earn 23,000Baht/month- english teaching.
3 :
if you contact a bangkok pimp he will know
4 :
well. i would say you need at least 1000bht a day so 500000bht, this is with out working. but if you budget then you could live there very cheap!!!
