You have to adopt her
2 :
You must be a US citizen before you can file an immigration petition for your sister.
3 :
Your husband can't file for her and neither can you until you become a citizen. However, even then, it will take another 11 years from the point you file a petition for her before it can be used to come to the US as an immigrant. Adoption isn't really an option, even assuming your parents would agree. Your husband could, in theory file a petition for an adopted child, but the child would have to be generally available for adoption, as in an orphange. So, your sister wouldn't qualify.
4 :
You must bring with her, her mother. Government would not let her come her without her parents, especially mom for girl.

I live in Thailand, what type of bird would make a good pet, i would like one that i could let fly free

I live in Thailand, what type of bird would make a good pet, i would like one that i could let fly free ?
I have seen various types of parrot here, which are not tethered, and also appear to not have a wing clipped. I live on the top/13th. floor of a condo block. Any suggestions on type / breed please.

try a humming bird.

May I just point out that your part of the world hasn't done too well with birds... Maybe you ought to get a turtle.
3 :
Normally the reason birds fly away and never come back is because they have never seen your home from the air and don't know which one to come back to. Out on the open water there is only one place they can land would be back on the boat so they learn what their home looks like. So in that case you could let them fly free. I would not dare to let my birds fly free outside because I would never see them again. Too many houses.

nope things are pretty cool for now
2 :
No. Way Stability is very evident.
3 :
Still feel pretty safe and even when the past riots went on it wasn't against foreigners.
4 :
Maybe ,theres definate splits in the army, becoming more evident now. It's not as stable as said above. Never say never. Nothing would surprise me.
5 :
well, history says that they have them often enough - but, the last one had no effect on my life at all - but, it doesn't feel like it - but what do I know?
6 :
The military chief recently said there will be no coup. So yeah, we'll probably have a coup.
7 :
It really doesn't matter for the farangs living in Thailand. I didn't even notice the last one.
8 :
It is possible! I think "Mark" (the P.M.) must be very careful. Sometime in the next few months, heads are going to roll.
9 :
Coup no coup, who cares, it's not going to help or hurt use farangs. Everything change but still remains the same.
10 :
Let us keep our fingers crossed. The military are not that easy to endure!

How much Thai Baht is need to live in thailand for one year?
I plan on going to a university in bangkok to study the language and business managment. I would like to know a good university and how much it would cost to stay in a apartment and to attend a university at the same time, including food... Thank you.

How low will you go? Will you settle for cold water flats with squat toilets for that year? Eating mostly Thai foods and with little entertainment you can go pretty cheap. But it depends on the money you have available. How much do you spend now for hotels and food? Full time you will spend a little less with an apartment instead of hotel rooms and purchasing some stuff to cook with. But cheap apartments are more like hotel rooms than apartments in the US or Europe. Try your question on this forum also: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/General-topics-f2.html Good luck.

A regular kind of wage is around 8000-10000/month for the average Joe,so I'd say at least 2 or 3 times that plus uni costs for an ok ish lifestyle
3 :
My Thai friends pay for single room with bathroom 3000 baht a month another with 2 bedroom and bathroom, kitchen 7000 a month but I suggest you contact university who will put you in contact with other students so that you can share. depending on how much you eat allow 100-300baht a day. I reckon you should be able to share for 2000 bht. Enjoy yourself
4 :
depending on your life style. I can put a whole list, but let me put the lowest and the highest (well actually not the highest, as you can spend whatever you want) I would say (not including uni fees) around 20.000 a month. lower than that you will be a real backpacker.

2 million without a car. 4 million baht with a car.

Agreed with the above answers. It depends on the university, private or public university because their tuition fees will be different. In addition, the cost of the apartment also depens on its location. If you want to live in downtown areas -- access to public transportation, safe, etc., you have to pay more. One bedroom apartment: vary from 3500-8000 bath (again, depends on the location and services). Also, don't forget that you have to pay for utilites as well. Transportation: might cost you around 1000-2000 bath. Food: let's say you can live with 100 bath a day, it will cost you 3000 bath. Party/nightlife/drinking: depends on your behaviors.
