Can rabbits live in air conditioned rooms

Can rabbits live in air conditioned rooms?
I live in Thailand, and I just got a Mini Rex for five days. The climate in Thailand is very hot and humid, therefore, I keep him in my room with the air conditioner on, except for at night. At night, I leave the windows open so that it is quite cool.

my american spot spends his summers in an airconditioned room. they are susceptible to heat stroke, so they NEED air conditioning!
2 :
Sure, why not. its no harm done, it has fur to protect it from the cold anyways.
3 :
Rabbits do better in the cold than the heat. As long as it is not too cold, then they should be fine. If you are cold, then it is probably a bit chilly for your rabbit. If you are comfortable in a light shirt, then the rabbit should be fine.
4 :
do you have big rabbits

What would be a good gift for someone in Thailand if you live in the US

What would be a good gift for someone in Thailand if you live in the US?
What do we have that is unique, and they would find interesting, that isn't made in China?

I`d say something brand name, original -don't have to be expensive. clothing or perfume ,cosmetics. Perfume (originals) are always much higher priced in Thailand, also some clothing. If it`s imported into the country the tax is quite high and i find Thailand can be more expensive than uk for some things.
2 :
Buy some fresh fruit in the local market - - What do you have that is unique in USA? A cheese hat from Green Bay that was probably made somewhere else? A package of AAA rated mortgage backed bonds from Citi Bank - - No, I think they will like the fruit better...
3 :
You limit the gift when you don't want something made in China. How about the US dollar it's one of the few things still made in the US, and I am sure she will love it long time.
4 :
Jewelry, gold, diamonds and good old green dollars.
5 :
Big Screen TV Automobiles Motorcy
6 :
A simple, cheap gift for females is chocolate. A good bottle of booze will go over great with the males.

Unlike in USA, people in Thailand don't normally give things to each other just for the fun of it. And they probably wouldn't understand your western gesture, unless you adapt it to local customs. Relatives in Thailand sometimes give practical things to each other, such as a motorcycle or a bag of rice in rural areas. And quite often they give money too. For girlfriends or wives men give heavy gold jewelery and money. But for non-romantic friends, food and drink (especially alcoholic) is what they normally give to each other or treat each other at the restaurant.

a statue of liberty cookie jar that plays Jimi Hendrix's version of Star Spangled Banner every time you take a cookie out.

How are Black people treated in Thailand

How are Black people treated in Thailand?
I'm a young Black man who wants to live in Thailand when I grow up. What is it like for Black people there?

No different to any other human being - treat people with respect in Thailand and you will never have a problem. Thai's are the least racist people I have ever meet and are very friendly people who welcome farang. I have a second home there and will move there for good next year - Love The People, The Culture, the food and stunning scenery - Thailand is Paradise on earth
2 :
They are treated like the white ones, with respect and dignity, if they behave themselves in accordance with the Thai Law and traditions!
3 :
In Thailand the liter the skin the higher class ... black being lowest try another country

I'm so sorry but Khun Larry is right and Scottie is clueless. Now if you have lots of money, it won't matter. Plenty of money trumps how dark your skin is. Contraray to Scottie's words, Thais are way more racists and classist than Americans. I am white, and the word for me, Farang, is used to my face. They will claim they don't mean to be racisit, but I've heard it w/so much distain. It is used like "nigger". But do make a visit and see for yourself. You may be surprised. I do know a black woman who works and it's an issue of grace for her; she has grace for them and helps them 'get past' her skin color which is a beautiful dark chocolate. She is beautiful and they also like that. Best wishes
5 :
It's not so much about racism as it is purely about skin color. Thais consider dark skin unattractive and dark skinned people as lower class. Thai people who are dark are generally looked down upon, even by other dark skinned Thais. You will generally be treated politely by Thais but the smile is just a facade. In their minds they will look down on you and not have much respect for you. That can manifest in their behaviors although it usually won't be very overt.
6 :
There's no worry if you black your heart must be white (Good) if you ya...Ya... that no good for your lives good luck ......
7 :
I don't think it's skin colour or any racism problem here. Thai people just like to have lighter skin themselves. We like Tiger Wood, Will Smith and etc. regardless skin colour. Be happy : )
8 :
Thai people are not as light skin as Chinese. Chinese are lighter skin that's why Thai people like to marry Chinese woman. There are also northern people and they have lighter skin. We just like to have light skin so we do not like the sun so much. Thai woman wants to have light skin colour. It a big question really but if you are happy with your skin colour it doesn't matter really. Look on the bright side of it don't be let down, there is a saying, "dark tall and handsome". I am not dark my skin colour is light brown but since I was a kid a lot of people tell me that light skin colour is better.....so I guess I am one of them who like to be light skin.
