The same country where Mubarak might be now! The United Arabs Emirates. (Please note: They say he is a"greedy" man. True or not, we really don't care much. What the people remember about him is, he tried to share the "spills" of all his "greediness" to the poor people in the rural areas. All the rich and elites in Bangkok may not be as "greedy", but only themselves enjoy all the good things in life - while the poor people are suffering and living in misery. However ... there are many things that Taksin "shared" with the rural people. He tried to give these poor rural people a voice in real "democracy". He was once poor, know what being poor is, and tried to share them something in which rich and elites in Bangkok only enjoy by themselves. It's a pity --- he tried to start so many things ... but only in vain!!!

He used to be based in Dubai but he does seem to be able to move around. Although I was against him originally for his corrupt practices, I now see him in a different light. He may even have more support from middle-class Thais now after the yellow nutters (PAD) have gone nuts trying to start wars. Thaksin was greedy but he wasn't insane. Who would you like to live under: a greedy person who believes in change or a group of insane nutters who are equivalent to something like the Islamic fascists in Iran? The PAD don't care about the people but Thaksin does. It's too bad that all this has happened. When Chamlong Srimuang is exiled things will be better in Thailand.

That is something the Thai government also would like to know. I mean: exactly where, and when he plans to move elsewhere. To make sure nothing *cough* untoward happens, of course. ;-) He moves around quite a lot. He is one of the richest men of the planet, so that doesn't bother him too much. He has been seen in Nicaragua (shopping for passports), Montenegro (idem) and he is often in Dubai. He also went to Fiji, but since the Fiji Island can easily be assaulted by the Royal Thai Navy (doesn't say much about the RTN, but a lot about Fiji) he doesn't go there anymore. Mind you, not only the Thai government is very much interested in his exact whereabouts. There are plenty of others who would like to chat with him too. I've been once inside his office, long before he became PM. You just don't believe what kind of security he had already. Rest assured, he didn't make that many friends later on in life. I can only assume he spends a lot on staying alive.

If you want to contact him >> he has his own Twitter. I wish he would bring his people there, too. Such people who want more and more, but never ask themselves what they do for the country.

If he's good enough to be in the States...doesn't that make you kinda wonder...why some Thais can't accept him back? People are talking about him being greedy and stuffs...and don't they think about this prime minister we have now...how much Thailand owes to IMF ever since this current pm sworn in and where did all those hundreds of billions go???? Where on the planet you've seen most of the people vote for their pm, just because he's handsome (that's what they said)? Of course, in Thailand...where thousands and thousands of ignorants live. Sad!
