I live in Thailand. How do I get rid of monitor lizards that frequent spaces between my walls?

It will never happen, as long as you have spaces between your walls. It's a way of life in Asia, so accept it.

A Thai friend suggests that you pack rock salt into the spaces. The lizzies don`t enjoy crawling over it.

spray bleach around your house. they may not like that because it would dry them out. it will wash away with the rain.

I live in Thailand as well and never had miniter lizards even near the house. Other lizards yes but not the big monitor ones. Ging-joke the house lizard is ery comon and there are many around my house and glad to have them. they eat bugs and do not bother people at all. Tu-kay are larger and ugly and will bite so having them around the house is not good at all. Mostly if the house is kept clean and in repair these will not get in. Salt is a good deturent for them. Many lizards around but most are no problem.
