How much is an English teacher in Thailand salary?
How much does English teacher in Thailand gets paid? If you are a USA citizen, English is your second language, and you have a Bachelor's Degree from USA. How much would you get pay if you decide to go live in Thailand and become a English teacher? How much would you get pay a hour, week, month, or year?

hmm. if they exist, enough to get an apartment. e-mail me if you have any luck. I don't think someone in America could land a job there after that crazy guy John Mark Karr was there and he had falshely confessed to Jon Benet Ramseys murder. But if you find a place that looks legitimate e-mail me hell I got a teaching licence so whatever

A native speaker English Teacher with a degree and TEFL will get paid about 30,000 to 40,000 baht a month. Having the degree and TEFL will also make you legal and you will get a work visa and work permit. Some international schools and universities will pay more, but you do need teaching experience for these positions. Many schools will hire you without meeting these requirements for about 25,000 baht a month but no work visa or work permit. Not being a native speaker may cost you, but then again I have seen UK teachers here who I can't understand at all when they speak English. 30,000 baht a month is adequate to live on but not a comfortable life. People do it for the experience and to see the culture here in Thailand. Other do it for the love of some Thai girl.
