best is to do backpacking there. you can get by with euro450 for a month staying in the many cheap, clean domitories, a few souvenir shopping, eating the delicious local meals and some travelling around the country by bus or train. that is excluding your airfare. there are many airlines that fly to bangkok so shop around for the best bargain. fyi, things are really cheap there. where on earth can you get a mcdonald's burger for euro1-2?

Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."

Those who live near the border cross almost daily, each country has permission to stay 30 days without a visa when crossing. It's not a big issue with either country it seems. Malaysians don't really want to stay in Thailand and Thais don't stay in Malaysia. This is not a big issue other than those insurgents who do cross borders to evade captive. .

I have a High School Diploma but no college. I am was born speaking english. I want to go to Thailand and teach there, and live there. Does anyone know if there is a chance for me to teach there or do I need to get a degree? Please help. I really want to live in Thailand and work there. This seems like a easy way to go and I love people and would love to teach.

How can you teach if the people that you wanted to teach have more education and credibility than you? You have to study and master something before you can teach it. No offense man, but teaching might not be for you. Everybody can speak English but without education, how can people be sure that you know "proper" academic English not only with the speaking part but also the grammar and composition part. I suggest that you find another profession. I suggest probably saving some money and building an apartment there for rent. You can also apply as a translator if you know how to speak Thai. Or yet, go to college here yet while you are saving some money to live there then you'll suddenly realize that you will almost graduate and your wallet's full making you ready for immigrating there. Honestly, a lot of people there are educated and English is spoken everywhere.

You can teach. Go to a sta travel agency and they can hook you up with a course in teaching english and get you a placement in thailand before you leave.
3 :
First, you find a classroom full of kids......No, you have to pass a test that allows you to teach english and you can do that all over Bangkok, many schools or in the US. Living in Thailand is great...very inexpensive and what a fantastic culture and active city, (Bangkok). The people are beautiful and friendly and so eager to learn---English and computer skills are most popular. Good luck.
4 :
Take a TEFL course.

You don't need a degree just be able to speak English clearly. Look on this website for teaching jobs: http://www.bangkokpost.com Also check out "The Nation" which is another local paper in Bangkok. They are always looking for teaches in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand but the pay is very low.
